Blurb/Synopsis:
Matt Danmor thinks he's lucky. Not many people survive a near death accident with nothing more than a bout of amnesia, a touch of clumsiness and the conviction that the technician who did the MRI had grey skin and hooves. Still, it takes time to recover from trauma like that, especially when the girl who was in the accident with you disappears into thin air. Especially when the shrinks keep telling you she's just a figment of your imagination.  So when the girl turns up months later looking ravishing, and wanting to carry on where they left off, Matt's troubled life starts looking up.  But he hasn't bargained for the baggage that comes with Silvy, like the fact she isn't really an English language student, or even a girl. Underneath her traffic stopping exterior is something else altogether, something involving raving fanatics bent on human sacrifice, dimensionally challenged baked bean tins, a vulture with a penchant for profanity, and a security agent  for the Dept of Fimmigration (that's Fae immigration for those of you not in the know) called Kylah with the most amazing gold-flecked eyes.

Little did he know that his mate would sacrifice herself to save them all.

His fury is legend. His wrath, merciless. His love for his mate, undeniable. He’s going to hell to retrieve his heart, and if that means that he must destroy hell itself, then so be it.

Kasadya awakes to a world in peril, her mate forever changed, and a war filled with evil creatures intending to enter Earth’s realm and destroy all that she holds dear. Can she complete her divinity in time to save her loved ones and mankind? Will she have to choose? Or will all be lost in the final battle?

Excerpts -
“Well if we do find one, we need to keep it earth bound,” I said, remembering my fight with Ira.
Chax looked at me questioningly.
“They heal super-fast in Hell. On earth, they barely heal, giving us the upper hand,” I explained.
“How do you know this?” Chax asked, his fork hovering in front of him and his eyes shooting daggers at me.
Trying to avoid it, I looked at Zurita and Caim and found them waiting for the explanation.
Crap.
“The night I killed Ira, he shifted me to his place in Hell. That’s where I discovered that he could heal faster there.” I waited for Chax's outburst.
He looked like he was going to kill something, and in that moment I was pretty sure it was me.
“He shifted you to hell?” Chax asked again.
Annnd, here it comes.
I nodded and braced myself for impact. There was a moment of deathly silence, like those moments just before a bomb goes off. You watch it slowly fall to earth and you know that it’s going to go boom. This is that moment.
“You will never leave my side again!” The bomb exploded, and then jumped up and stormed out.
I looked at Caim and Zurita, and found their large eyes focused on me.
“Yeah, I was waiting for that,” I mumbled, and then took another bite.
Crap, so much for Zen moments. Chax needs to lighten up.
***
“Will you do it already?!” Thonyn yelled from somewhere.
“Indeed.” I replied smiling.
I knew they were struggling with her. Focusing, I poured my feelings into her. It was still strange and foreign, all of these feelings around her, and I was not sure how she would receive them. I opened up to her; I wanted her to feel what I could not tell her. That I admired her. That I am proud of her, regardless of her flaws. That she was magnificent in my eyes. But most of all, and I feared for this, I wanted her to feel my love for her. The moment I had her in my arms and felt her mouth against mine, I knew that I loved this stubborn girl with everything inside me. For her I, would slay all evil, and would travel to hell to ensure her safety.

MY REVIEW:
Each book ends perfectly from the last, so there's no confusion as to what's going on. The main character in this story is Kasadya, Kas for short. Kas still has not found her mate. In this book she will found the one to take her from Hellbound Born to Kas again. Kasadya has grown up since the first book. I love how she protrays herself. Strong, independent and stubborn. Trying to be helpful, but trouble always finds her. Kas and her friends are preparing for battle with the demons. Each defeat Kas gets stronger. Kas has dreams almost every night showing the lost she will endure at the end. Determined to not let fate have it's way. Kas knows what she has to do. At the end she risks her life to keep her family and friends safe. This was the best book by far in the series. I can hardly what till I get to read book 4! Great Series...

Excerpts -
“Do you serve because you want to gain access to Heaven? Or do you serve because you want to, because it is in your heart to?” I challenged them, and silence greeted me. The few eyes that had shown aggression now looked to the earth, shamed at the conclusion of my challenge. They serve themselves, for their own cause. They are not here because their hearts tell them that this is the right thing to do.

“These humans are out there every day, fighting to eliminate the demons, and they do this because they want to. They do this because it was their free willed choice to do it. You speak about honour and love, yet all of you are only doing this for yourselves!” I was pissed off, talk about hypocrites!
****
“Just breathe through it,” Chax tried once more. But my breathing wasn’t slowing down and my normal vision was almost non-existent. What a final moment. Here in the cold with my Custos, no final glory, no grand exit, just us in a deserted place. Suddenly a pain shot through my wing and I screamed in agony. Confused, I looked at the wing, and then at Chax and froze. He just broke my wing, the pain rippling up to my back and into my spine. Shocked and suddenly afraid I looked at him, “Now breathe,” he instructed and I did.

I lay there, pinned beneath him, and started to try and control my breathing. He was watching me intently, his eyes boring into mine. “That’s it,” he said after a few minutes. “Take back control, this is how you will fight it, this is how you will live longer.” I felt heat on my left cheek and then felt it become ice cold, stopping just below my jaw. The same was happening on my other cheek. Tears, I felt my tears. Angry that I would be so weak in front of the one person I wanted to prove myself to, I pushed him off me and got up in super speed. Walking away from him, I wiped the now frozen tears off my face.
***
“Oh wait, I didn’t tell you about this part. So he was looking at the waterfall, then he stepped on to the top and looked down to try and see me. The next thing he slipped and fell in, and I do believe he was cursing in Russian.” I looked at Kali and we started laughing all over again. But clearly Max didn’t approve.

“I did not slip, you shot me with a light bomb and then I fell into the water,” he rectified the facts.

Nanini turned around on her butt and looked at him. “Yeah, can you prove it, Godzilla?” she taunted him.

Trailer:

Excerpts -
“I can do more than that,” she said smiling. Getting up she walked over to an open spot near the window. When she turned around she wasn’t a girl anymore. She was two feet taller, and was covered in what look like fur. Her brown eyes were now yellow with black pupils. On her forehead were two small horns sticking out. But it was the two black bat-like wings lifting
up behind her that did it for me. Oh my freaking soul! I am going to turn into a huge freaking bat! My legs turned into jelly and I planted my butt on the bed.
****
“For many years I have tried to make the others see the potential Astin and his fallen had, but it was always a failure. I watched these fallen take on demons ours haven’t even seen yet and walk out victorious. Do you know how many lives could have been saved if they just listened?” Chax said next to me, and I turned to look at him.
His eyes were on the crowd in front of us, but he turned to look at me. For the first time since meeting him I saw sadness, and deep pain.
***
I have become what one can only call a killing machine, where the fights started out as a curse; they now have become my quest. Every time I took one of their heads, pleasure would fill me; yeah a killing machine, a true Hellhound.

My Review: I gave this book 5 Stars

I was really amazed when I started to read this book. I became one with the book from the first page. The author did a really good job explaining everything in simple terms. Which made the book easy to follow. Full of action. Kasadya(Kas)was just a teen that never seem to fit in with her peers. One day her parents told her she was a born Hellbound. Confused, but now knew why she didn't fit in. Kas was sent to a facility for training. Her future of killing demons to save the humans. Found some great friends. A traitor in the facility got her kidnapped by a demon. Living amoung the demons for a little over two years. She gained power and control. Then she meets a fellow fallen. Things start to change for her. Flashbacks to the facility and Chax(Kasadya trainer) starts to come back. Kas out smarted the demons and got away. Thinking she was going to shift back to the Hellhouse, she ended up some place new. Finding out she can't get back to the facitity, Kas decides to stay with the new group and joined them. While doing her job as a Hellhound, her friends from the Hellhouse show up. Then all Hell breaks loose. Chax is pissed at her and the situation her new friends have created.
